The Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, which represents 800,000 workers in L.A. County, has endorsed Luz Rivas for Congress in California's 29th District.  The federation includes over 300 labor organizations representing both public and private sector workers in virtually every sector of the economy.

"Luz Rivas is deeply committed to creating opportunity for working families”, said Federation President Yvonne Wheeler.  "She isn’t just a reliable supporter; she’s a genuine champion for people who work hard every day to create a better life for their families.  Now more than ever, we need her in Congress."

Rivas thanked the organization for their support.  "I am proud to have worked hand in hand with the L.A. Fed from the first moment I was elected to the Assembly.  In Congress, I will continue to be a voice for workers and opportunity for all."
