Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass has joined Senator Alex Padilla, Lt. Governor Eleni Kounalakis and the California Labor Federation among many others in endorsing Luz Rivas for Congress in California’s 29th District. 

Mayor Karen Bass’ endorsement is another great sign that Luz’s campaign continues to pick up momentum.

Here’s what Mayor Bass said:  

“Luz Rivas has been a strong voice for us in Sacramento, including her role as leader of the L.A. delegation of the State Assembly, and she will continue to be our champion in Congress.  She has a proven track record in addressing climate change and advancing economic justice for the diverse communities of the San Fernando Valley. Luz has also shown her passion and drive to get homeless individuals and families off the street with real solutions, and she's another partner I need in this huge undertaking.”
